Ward Retreat

Don't Miss out on our awesome ward retreat!! Here's the details:

When: June 13th and 14th
Where: Mike Linton's cabin in Strawberry.
Time: There will be two groups going. The first group will meet at 12:00pm on Friday and leave at 12:30pm. They will set everything up and get dinner ready for the next group. Which will meet at the church at 5:30 and leave by 5:45pm. We will officially start the retreat with dinner when the second group arrives. If you want to come Saturday morning you can. Just get a map from Mike.
Saturday Activities: Breakfast, Games, Hiking, Floating on River, lunch. And lots of fun!!! We will probably go until about 4:00pm, but we will not be serving dinner Saturday evening.
What to Bring: Swimming suit, life jacket(s), inter-tube(s) to float the river, sunscreen, sleeping bag, and whatever else you would bring on an over-nighter.

Multi-Stake Competition

For the Multi-stake activity in May we are having a competition with the other stakes to see who can collect the most food for the Utah Food Bank. The winners will receive free Frogurt Coupons, so come on CP7th Ward, lets do our best to win:-)

Here's the details:
Thursday (May 28th) Meet at the Church at 6pm to collect food
Saturday (May 30) Meet at the Church to bring the food to the Utah food Bank. Meet at 9am. We need to be to the food bank by 10am. We will have the opportunity to give service at the food bank until 12noon. Then we will be fed pizza!

Pioneer Trek in August

There is about 150 seats left for this awesome Pioneer trek in August. It is August 13-15, and it will be at Rocky Ridge. There is a $15 fee for food and stuff. If you are interested, send an e-mail to this address... rockyridgeysa@gmail.com.

General Conference

Hey all! General Conference is next weekend! If you want tickets to go to the Conference center, talk with a member of the Bishopbric. Also, some of us from the ward will be singing in the choir for the Saturday afternoon session. They are giving each of us a ticket, but I'm sure no one wants to go by themselves, so if you have tickets, but need another one for Saturday afternoon, let me know! It will be first come first serve as to who gets it!

SERVICE Auction

Come to our wards Service Auction this Thursday!!! It will be way fun! Here's the info:

When: This Thursday, March 26
Time: 7:30

What is it?: Bring something you made or a service in mind that you would like to give or do for someone else. For example Mike might be willing to mow someones yard for them once or however many times he wants. He will write his service on our specially made paper/ certificate, and whoever wins that service will keep that certificate, so they know who is suppose to mow their lawn, or whatever the service is. Your service can be a treat that you made or something like that, and we will just auction the treat/homemade item then and there at the activity. You might ask: Do we have to bring our own money? the answer is NO! You will fill out a questionnaire that will give you points. You will be using your points to buy services. It's a lot of fun! Everyone that has ever been to one loved it, so come and be prepared to give and receive service!
